Function of an oil/water separator

An oil / water separator is installed as part of the compressed air system. It reduces oil concentration in collected condensate to a level permitted for discharge. This ensures compliance with environmental requirements.

Once oil saturated condensate has been effectively removed from a compressed air system, it cannot be discharged directly to the sewer. The oil content must first be reduced to within legal limits. The separator performs this task reliably.

The system operates continuously and ensures safe handling of contaminated condensate. It also helps reduce environmental impact and supports proper wastewater management.
