Function of an oil/water separator

An oil / water separator is installed as part of the compressed air system. It reduces oil concentration in collected condensate to a level allowed for discharge. This ensures compliance with environmental regulations.

Once oil saturated condensate has been removed from a compressed air system, it cannot be discharged directly to the sewer. The oil content must first be reduced to within legal limits. The separator handles this process effectively.
